Viral Meningitis & The Superbowl?????

Two girls in my dorm were quarantined last weekend (with my luck and no shot, I'll get it). Two teams who I don't care about are playing (poor Broncos!)

This week is insane at Olivet--with revival and classes, choir tour next weekend, winter break the following weekend...life is nonstop around here. A lot of girls on my floor have sore throats and we are so drained from the demands of school...if you think about it, please pray for restorative healing.

The Lord is working here and now. This is of unimaginable comfort to me.

"In my weakness I find that Your strength knows no bounds."

Hope you are ALL doing well.

I almost died this weekend...not to mention losing 10lbs of water weight from vomiting atrociously...

It's amazing what a VIRUS (of all things) can do to you.

Thank heavens for the Lord's restorative healing...Now back to the demands of school. It's going to be one challenging semester considering the fact that I have five papers to write in the course of this week.

Lord, give me the strength to accomplish these arduous tasks ahead.

It's a new year and a new day so I decided to change my layout.

So much has happened during these last two weeks of being home and I wish I had time to reiterate the events, but it's been great. I'm ready to go back to Olivet and begin my Spring semester classes. This is a short update but I have to get ready to hike with my family...I leave tomorrow for Chicago!

I leave you with this:
“what a forgiving, loving, restoring and healing God we serve. I am a wretch, I am dirty and sinful, yet I have been bathed in righteousness. Because of my Father in Heaven pouring into me every day for the last nine years, He has built me up and made me feel worthy. I could never be who I am today if it wasn't for His constant affirmation during my reconciliation process. Daily, He would whispered in my ear, "You are worthy. You are loved, you are my child, and you are forgiven. Walk in peace, walk in my Son's righteousness."

Walk in His adoring love for you.

Why do wonderful things have to come to an end??

I guess it is for the better, but it's starting to take a toll. I have the Lord's peace and for that I am eternally grateful.

One lesson I've learned throughout this situation: relationships are incredibly delicate-you need to take them one day at a time and not impulsively jump into things...they take time.

Other news: I leave for home tonight!! I have a feeling a lot of changes have taken place. My home is at Olivet for now, but I'm anxiously awaiting tonight, when I can see my family and hug them and tell them how much they mean to me.

Life is wonderful, especially when God is at the center of it all. May the Lord richly reward you during this holiday season. Merry Christmas (5 days early!)

My first final is tomorrow. Spanish!! Then, the Christmas Banquet, Sweater Party with the b/f and more finals....Then, HOME...If I click my heels three times can I just be there right now? This is truly a lesson in patience.

The Lord is working in my life. He is taking everyone of my impurities and insecurities and He wants to change them. I need to trust Him wholeheartedly through this process.

"For nothing is impossible with God." Luke 1:37.

Goodluck on finals, be safe, and have a wonderful Christmas and a joyous New Year!!!
